Sera Morena contains 100% natural peat extracts - a rich source of humic acids, vitamins, and trace elements. Together with Sera Aqutan, Sera Morena creates softwater conditions similar to tropical waters. When added regulary, it provides perfect conditions for brilliantly coloured fish, and healthy plants.

I have used this product successfully for the past 12 years. It is a huge help in providing a peaty softness to the water for those fish which require such conditions. Living in a hard water area, I would not be without Sera Morena in my constant battle to soften the aquarium water ( in addition to regular water changes using R/O water, that is.)

i find this product is alot cleaner then using peat because this is just a chemical. It displaces in the water alot quicker than peat. If u need a water sofener use this
